Nestled close to nature and with views of the lush woodlands, the spacious room was equipped with free Wi-Fi and essential tea and coffee facilities, allowing for a relaxing start to each day. The ensuite was practical, featuring a refreshing shower and pleasant toiletries. A highlight was definitely the delicious cooked breakfast, showcasing locally sourced ingredients, which set a positive tone for our adventures. Wendy and Steven, the owners, offered attentive service without being intrusive, from the warm welcome with tea and lemon drizzle cake to their helpful tips on local walks and dining options. We appreciated the convenient free parking and nearby eateries—perfect for exploring without needing to drive. While Pine Lodge may lean towards a higher price point, the combination of great location, personal touches, and quality amenities makes it a reasonable choice for those valuing experience in their stay.
